Terms of Service
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1. Agreement and who we are
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Plainline. Plainline is operated by Nikolai Skorobogatko PR Beograd, Čika Ljubina 12, stan 3, 11002 Beograd 3, Serbia. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, using Plainline, or subscribing to the Plainline newsletter where these Terms are presented, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service or subscribe. Questions and legal notices can be sent to [email protected].
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use Plainline on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. These Terms apply to both consumers and business users. Mandatory rights that apply to consumers are not limited by these Terms.
3. The service
Plainline helps you turn source text and instructions into editable presentations, edit presentation content and layout, and share, present, or export the result. Features may change as the service develops. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any notice obligations.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from Plainline's failure to use reasonable security measures. You may not share access in a way that bypasses plan, workspace, or security limits.
5. Your input and license to operate the service
You retain your rights in text, instructions, files, images, presentations, and other material you submit to Plainline. You grant Plainline a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transmit, modify, and display that material only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the operation of the service for you. This license ends when the material is deleted, except for limited retention required for backups, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance as described in the Privacy Policy. Plainline does not use your source text or presentations to train its own models.
6. Your responsibilities for input
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit your input and to instruct Plainline to process it. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or privacy-violating material. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, regulated, or another person's personal data to AI generation unless you are authorized to do so and understand the applicable risks. The Acceptable Use and AI Disclosure forms part of these Terms.
7. Generated output
As between you and Plainline, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, you may use generated output, including commercially. Plainline assigns to you any rights it may have in output created for you. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, non-unique, or similar to material generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing the final presentation and for determining whether your input and output may be lawfully used, published, shared, or relied upon. Plainline does not guarantee that output is eligible for intellectual-property protection or does not affect third-party rights.
8. AI processing
Plainline may send presentation source and generation instructions to DeepSeek to create presentation content. DeepSeek may process or store data in the People's Republic of China. AI output requires human review and must not be treated as professional, legal, financial, medical, or other high-stakes advice. More information appears in the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use and AI Disclosure.
9. Plainline intellectual property
Plainline and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, design, branding, templates, system content, and documentation, excluding your input and the rights in output described above. These Terms do not grant you a right to copy, resell, reverse engineer, interfere with, or create an unauthorized derivative service from Plainline.
10. Plans, billing, and Merchant of Record
Plainline offers Free and Pro plans. Plainline Pro costs US$12 per month and renews automatically until cancelled. Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record and processes checkout, payment, applicable tax, invoices, and payment details. The checkout shows the final price and applicable tax before purchase. You can cancel through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation stops renewal and Pro access continues until the end of the paid period. We may change future pricing or plan features with reasonable notice; a new price applies no earlier than a future renewal or purchase accepted by you.
11. Credits
Verified Free accounts receive a one-time grant of 200 credits. Each successful monthly Pro payment grants 1,000 credits. Subscription credits may roll over up to a total subscription balance of 2,000 credits. An eligible Pro account may purchase 800-credit top-ups for US$10. A generation quote may temporarily reserve credits; successful generation settles the actual charge up to the reserved amount, while failed, cancelled, or non-renderable generation releases the reservation. Subscription credits expire when the paid entitlement ends. Free and top-up credits do not expire under the current policy. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for money. A refund or chargeback may reverse granted credits and create a negative credit balance.
12. Refunds and consumer rights
The Refund, Cancellation and Credit Terms form part of these Terms. Mandatory refund, withdrawal, conformity, and other consumer rights remain unaffected. Under Plainline's voluntary policy, a payment may be refunded within seven days if credits granted by that payment have not been used. Duplicate charges are refunded. A confirmed service failure may be remedied with money or credits. Consumed credits are otherwise non-refundable, and unused requests made after seven days are reviewed manually. Contact [email protected] for cancellation or refund help.
13. Third-party services
Plainline relies on third-party services for AI generation, billing, email, analytics, hosting, security, and storage. Their availability and processing may be subject to their own terms and policies. Plainline remains responsible for its obligations to you under applicable law but does not control independent third-party services or guarantee their uninterrupted availability.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Plainline at any time and may request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with law, address non-payment, or enforce these Terms and the Acceptable Use and AI Disclosure. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure. We may terminate access for a material or repeated breach. Account and content deletion follows the Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.
15. Service availability and disclaimers
We use reasonable care to operate and secure Plainline, but the service may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, provider outages, or changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plainline is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. AI output may contain errors and must be reviewed before use. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plainline is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data arising from use of the service. Plainline's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Plainline during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) US$100. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts in Belgrade, Serbia have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring or defend a claim in another court or under the mandatory law of your place of residence. Before filing a claim, you and Plainline should try in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting [email protected].
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, providers, pricing, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. If a material change requires consent, it will not apply until that consent is obtained. Continued use after other changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
19. General
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent, except where applicable law permits. Plainline may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, sale of the business, or transfer to a successor, subject to applicable notice and consumer-protection requirements. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund, Cancellation and Credit Terms, and the Acceptable Use and AI Disclosure form the agreement governing the service.
